As Project Controls Manager, I supervise the preparation of Lusail LRT Master Schedule in Primavera P6.7,  development of WBS, implementation of Document Control System in Contract Manager 12.0, preparation of Monthly and Weekly Reports, Risk Management Plan, cost estimate. Oversight of design submittal reviews, preparation of variation orders and processing of contractor’s pay application.

 

Sr. Planning Manager, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Middle East (Abu Dhabi, UAE)
November 2008 – September 2009
As the Sr. Planning Manager of PB on the Nareel Island Development Project, in  Abu Dhabi, I prepare the Work Breakdown Structure and develop, track, update and report the monthly progress the Master Schedule and Cost for the design, procurement and construction of ALDAR mixed development of super luxurious villas, hotel (Ritz Carlton), high rise apartments, non-tidal lagoon, shore rock-revetments, quay walls, marinas, pontoons, jetties, infrastructures (bridges, roads and utilities) and beaches. I prepare, track and report the actual schedule and earned value cost progress in Primavera P6.2 against the baseline schedule and cost, i.e. schedule and cost performance indices, earned value versus planned value cash flow S curve, actual cost certified to date, cost variance, schedule variance, estimate at completion and estimate to complete. I monitored and controlled contractor’s progress. I prepared the monthly dashboard report for client’s CEO. I d
eveloped and collated conceptual cost estimate/ rough order of magnitude at Master Plan level. I also prepared the analysis and extension of time report for contractors that are in delay using Impacted as Planned Analysis methodology.

As the Planning Manager of PB, on the Qasr Al Hosn rehabilitation project, I developed WBS structure, procurement strategies, tender and prequalification procedures for Qasr Al Hosn Rehabilitation project. I prepared, tracked and updated the Project Master Programme in Primavera 6.2 for pre-qualification, pre-tender, tendering and construction programme of the WBS. Developed procurement strategies for Midfield Terminal for the expansion of Abu Dhabi International airport. In charge of program management and construction management of Rough Grading (Earthworks), Terminal Apron, Airfield Ground Lightings, Midfield Terminal. Developed Airport wide Work Breakdown Structure, Master Schedule using Primavera 5.0.and identified construction interfaces milestones. Reviewed constructability of Midfield Terminal design drawings. Reviewed, monitored, commented and advised potential delays and cost overrun on contractor’s updated progress schedule of Etihad Terminal 3.
